RN Registered Nurse - Waldenburg Emergency Department 23 Mile Road - 36 Hours Weekly - Night Shift Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, Three 12-hour shifts per week, rotating every other weekend and observed holiday Location: 17900 23 Mile Rd. Macomb, MI 48044 General Summary Henry Ford Medical Center Waldenburg Emergency Department is an 11-bed department staffed with RNs, Medic and Physician providing access to 24/7 emergency medicine, primary and specialty care, and diagnostic services. Our department is located west of Romeo Plank off 23-mile road and aims to improve the health and wellness of patients while being located in the heart of Macomb County. We welcome candidates with at least one year of prior critical care experience. Come join our team! Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization. Implement and monitor patient care plans. Monitor, record and communicate patient condition as appropriate. Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care. Note and carry out physician and nursing orders. Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team. Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans. Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services. Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel. Certification / Licenses Required BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Registered Nurse credentialed from the Michigan Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
