Translate business requirements into optimized data structures aligned with enterprise data architecture and governance standards.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop conceptual, logical, and physical data models across modern data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Azure, Databricks)Design dimensional (star/snowflake) and normalized models based on use caseTranslate business requirements into entities, attributes, relationships, and business rulesPartner with data engineers to define ETL/ELT mappings, transformations, and lineageEnsure alignment with enterprise architecture, data standards, and governance policiesDrive data quality, consistency, and metadata management (e.g., Collibra/Alation)Optimize models for performance, scalability, and cost efficiencyMaintain data dictionaries, lineage, and design documentationQualifications10+ years in data modeling / data architectureStrong expertise in dimensional modeling (Kimball), normalization, and/or Data VaultHands-on experience with cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks)Proficiency in SQL and data warehousing conceptsExperience with data modeling tools (ERwin, ER/Studio, PowerDesigner)PreferredExposure to Dimensional Modeling, Data Vault 2.0 / Lakehouse architecturesFamiliarity with data governance tools (Collibra, Alation)Experience supporting AI/ML or advanced analytics data structuresDomain experience in financial services / enterprise data modernizationKey SkillsStrong analytical and problem-solving capabilityAbility to bridge business and technical stakeholdersDeep understanding of data process lifecycle Clear communication and documentation skillsWhat we offer youAt EY, we’ll develop you with future-focused skills and equip you with world-class experiences. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $125,500 to $230,200. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $150,700 to $261,600. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.
