- Setup and Operation: Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes (3-axis and 5-axis) to perform complex machining operations.
- Technical Execution: Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and job specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished workpieces.
- Quality Control: Conduct first-piece inspections and monitor production using precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Optimization: Adjust machine offsets and tooling to maintain quality and improve cycle efficiency.
- Safety & Maintenance: Perform routine machine maintenance and adhere to all strict safety protocols and PPE requirements.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in CNC machining, preferably within a heavy industrial or aerospace environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in reading G-code and M-code; experience with Fanuc or Siemens controls is a plus.
- Precision: Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods in a fast-paced production environment.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or journeyman card preferred.
