Exciting Opportunity for Nightshift ER RNs!

Job Description:


- Unit Overview:
- Join a dynamic Emergency Room team with 28 beds, including 4 fast track and 2 trauma bays!


- Position Requirements:
- Telemetry, L/D, Emergency, and Critical Care RNs must pass a proctored Dysrhythmia Test on day one.
- Holiday RTO will be considered but not guaranteed.


- Shift Details:
- 12-hour Night Shifts with varied start times from 4 PM to 7 PM.
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend.
- Guaranteed 36 hours per week.


- Certifications Needed:
- ACLS, BLS, PALS
- TNCC is preferred.


- Unit Environment:
- Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4.
- Supportive team environment with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.
- Charge Nurse available; no patient assignments for Charge Nurse.


- Patient Care:
- Handle a diverse caseload with 155 patients per day, including trauma, stroke, pediatrics, and psychiatric patients.
- Experience in high-volume and high-acuity ER settings is a must; Level II trauma experience preferred.


- Facility Support:
- Hospitalist and Intensivist on-site 24/7.
- Respiratory Therapy and Pharmacy available round the clock.


- Orientation and Training:
- Floor-specific orientation for 2-3 shifts to ensure smooth integration into the team.


- Additional Information:
- Candidates with at least 2 years of experience in specialty care are encouraged to apply.
- Opportunity to take trauma patients based on experience.
