Overview Senior Project Manager – Heavy Civil Construction — We are representing a growing heavy civil contractor in Connecticut that is actively seeking a Senior Project Manager to join their leadership team. This is a unique opportunity to take on a high-impact role with an established firm that is expanding its design-build capabilities and managing projects in the $5M–$20M range. Base pay range $170,000.00/yr - $215,000.00/yr What You’ll Do Lead day-to-day project management for heavy civil and infrastructure projects, including DOT and municipal work. Oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution from preconstruction through closeout. Manage and mentor project engineers, field staff, and subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. Collaborate closely with senior leadership to support the company’s growth strategy in civil and design-build markets. Foster strong client relationships and maintain the company’s reputation for quality, safety, and professionalism. What You’re Looking For 8+ years of heavy civil construction experience, with proven success managing multimillion-dollar projects. Background in DOT, sitework, utilities, bridges, or roadway construction preferred. Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage diverse teams. Experience in design-build delivery methods a plus. Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred. Competitive base salary, depending on experience.
