Step into a rewarding contract opportunity to support students as an Occupational Therapist for the 2026-2027 academic year. This role provides critical services within elementary and middle school settings, and you'll play an essential part in helping young learners thrive both academically and functionally. The assignment runs from August 6, 2026, through May 26, 2027, with a weekly commitment of 35-40 hours across multiple school sites.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license
• CPR certification required
• Previous experience in school-based OT roles preferred
• Proficiency in providing school-related OT interventions and Medicaid billing
• Strong collaboration and communication skills to work with educators, families, and students across various grade levels
• Flexibility and adaptability for working at multiple sites and adjusting to changing caseloads

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver OT assessments, develop intervention plans, and implement treatment for students in elementary and middle schools
• Maintain accurate and compliant documentation, including Medicaid billing
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to ensure the best possible support for each student
• Contribute to IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions as needed
• Travel between buildings (as assigned) to manage a varied caseload effectively
• Provide therapy both onsite (3 days per week) and virtually (2 days per week) as part of a hybrid schedule
