RN CVICUJob Title: RN CVICU Profession: RN CVICU Specialty: RN CVICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:45 AM - 07:15 PM Hours per Shift: 13 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Active RN license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Certification Must-Have: Critical Care/Cardiac Critical Care background required Open heart recovery experience required Post-cardiac procedure recovery experience required Description: The unit consists of 8 beds with a patient ratio of 1:1 to 1:3. The patient population includes post-surgical management for cardiothoracic surgery, vascular surgery, thoracotomies, and TAVRs. Candidates will manage patients post-open heart surgery and post-cardiac procedures. Candidates will perform surgical procedures, central line placements, arterial line placements, and chest tube placements. Familiarity with Edwards monitoring and GE monitoring is necessary.
