Store Associate

Position Summary Retail Store Associate position provides an opportunity to excel in a leading retail setting, working both independently and as part of a team to positively impact customers and the community. Essential Functions Providing differentiated customer service by anticipating needs, demonstrating compassion, and resolving service issues. Focusing on the customer by giving a warm greeting, maintaining eye contact, and offering assistance to locate items. Accurately performing cashier duties, handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions with precision while following company policies. Maintaining the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, updating pricing information, and completing inventory management tasks as directed by the store manager. Supporting opening and closing store activities as needed. Providing customer support to all departments, including photo and beauty, ensuring they are fully stocked and operational. Assisting pharmacy personnel when needed, including working regular shifts in the pharmacy as part of growth opportunities. Embracing and advocating for new CVS services and loyalty programs that support our purpose of helping people on their path to better health. Required Qualifications At least 16 years of age. Remaining upright on feet for sustained periods of time. Lifting and exerting up to 35 lbs of force occasionally and up to 10 lbs frequently. Visual acuity sufficient for viewing a computer terminal, reading, and inspecting small details. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting. Education High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
