What You'll Do as Our 2nd Shift Team Leader

• Lead the second shift production team by assigning work, monitoring progress, and keeping production on track to meet daily goals.
• Coordinate each shift with the Production Manager by reviewing priorities at the start of the evening and communicating job status before the shift ends.
• Oversee the safe, efficient completion of production activities while maintaining the quality standards MH Eby is known for.
• Maintain an organized shop by keeping work areas, tools, equipment, and production bays clean, orderly, and ready for efficient operation.
• Support your team by solving production challenges, adapting to changing priorities, and helping remove obstacles that impact productivity.
• Promote a strong safety culture by ensuring your team follows company procedures, proactively addressing safety and environmental hazards, and maintaining a productive work environment.

Our Ideal 2nd Shift Team Leader

• Core Qualifications: High school diploma or GED with in-house tool and equipment certification, can accurately read measurements and perform basic math with fractions, and are comfortable using Excel.
• Production Experience: 2-5 years of manufacturing or production experience, with previous leadership or team coordination experience preferred. Forklift experience is a plus.
• Physically Capable: Demonstrate good dexterity and balance, communicate clearly, and comfortably perform the physical demands of a hands-on manufacturing leadership role, including lifting materials with appropriate assistance when required.
• Mechanical Aptitude: Strong mechanical skills. You enjoy troubleshooting production challenges to keep work moving efficiently.
• Clear Communicator: Communicate effectively with both production employees and first-shift leadership to keep priorities aligned across shifts.
• Adaptable Leader: You remain flexible, self-reliant, and professional while adjusting to changing production schedules and daily manufacturing demands.
• Safety-Focused: Lead by example, fostering a culture built on safety, teamwork, accountability, and producing quality work every day.

What We Offer Our 2nd Shift Team Leader

• Pay: $30-$35/hour plus a $3/hour differential
• Four-Day Workweek: Monday-Thursday, 3:45 PM to 2:45 AM, second shift schedule
