• Board certification required
• Active North Carolina medical license required
• Active North Carolina DEA required
• NPI number required with candidate submission
• Must be credentialed with Medicare and Medicaid and enrolled with PECOS
• Current vaccination status required
• At least 1 year of orthopedic surgery experience required
• Experience with arthroscopy, total joint replacement, joint revision or repair, hand procedures, tendon release/repair, peripheral nerve surgery, and spine procedures
• Required certifications: ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS

• Provide general orthopedic surgery call coverage in a hospital setting
• Evaluate and manage 0-3 consults per day
• Complete 0-2 emergency department visits for closed reductions and admissions per day
• Perform 0-2 surgeries per day as needed, including wrist, ankle, hip fractures, and incision and drainage procedures
• Stabilize long bone trauma and coordinate transfer when appropriate
• Deliver responsive, high-quality patient care during a busy orthopedic call schedule
