- # Mammography Technologist IIApplylocations: NSO 225 N Milwaukee Ave Vernon Hillstime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: R44705**Hourly Pay Range:**$35.35 - $54.79 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.**Mammography Technologist II****Position Highlights:**• **Position:** Mammography Technologist II* Sign On Bonus: $10,000* **Location:** Vernon Hills• **Full Time/Part Time:**Full Time, 40 hours• **Hours:** Day shift 7-5:30 or 8-4:30• **Required Travel:** Yes- Northbrook, Gurnee**What you will do:*** Under the direction of a Staff Radiologist, performs Mammography examinations at a level of optimum technical quality for use by physicians in diagnosing and treating patients, in accordance with departmental standards, policies, and procedures.* Performs a variety of technical and clerical duties that will require independent judgement, ingenuity, and initiative to apply Mammography procedures.* Maintains a high standard of quality care and adheres to the ACR guidelines while obtaining imaging.* Ensures patient safety during examination.* Explains procedures with tactful manners when there is a need for additional imaging.* Perform specialized exams under the direction of the staff radiologist**What you will need:*** **Education:**High School degree or equivalent* **Certification:**CPR certification required.
