Junior CFO (m/w/d) Private Equity in Malta

Your role: As a Junior CFO, you will support the financial management of various portfolio companies within the AUCTUS Group. In this role, you will take on responsibility early on and develop into a key liaison between the investment team, external advisors, and the operating companies. A particular focus of the role is on accounting, corporate governance, and the management of international investment structures. The position is aimed at candidates with a strong aptitude for numbers who wish to develop toward CFO and executive management responsibilities in the long term. Your tasks: Serving as managing director of several fund vehicles within the group Responsibility for the day-to-day accounting and documentation of investments and equity transactions Assistance in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Management and oversight of holding companies and portfolio companies Coordination of external auditors, tax advisors, and legal counsel Assistance with corporate law issues and corporate governance matters Cash management, liquidity planning, and treasury tasks Collaboration on financing, M&A, and restructuring projects Optimization and further development of reporting, accounting, and compliance processes Your profile: A bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration, finance, accounting, law, or a comparable qualification At least 3–5 years of relevant professional experience in accounting, audit, corporate services, finance, or legal Ideally, professional experience at an audit firm (Big 4) or a corporate services provider Strong understanding of accounting, corporate law, and corporate structures Strong analytical skills and a high affinity for numbers Structured, independent, and precise work style Entrepreneurial mindset and interest in private equity Fluent in English; German is a Plus Willingness to assume leadership and management responsibilities in the long term What we offer: Immediate entry into the international environment of a leading European private equity investor Early assumption of responsibility and direct contact with senior management Broad range of responsibilities at the intersection of finance, legal, and investment management International role based in Malta Dynamic, entrepreneurial environment with short decision-making paths Attractive compensation and long-term career development opportunities Why Malta?
