Commercial Property Manager

Commercial Property Manager-Contract Pay Rate: $40-$45/hour Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-6:00 PM Location: FWashington, DC 20017 Seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Commercial Property Manager to support a commercial real estate portfolio with a strong focus on tenant relations, property transitions, and day-to-day operations. This role is ideal for a supportive leader with strong organizational skills and a background in commercial property management who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities * Serve as the primary point of contact for tenant relations and ensure prompt resolution of tenant requests and concerns * Coordinate tenant move-ins, move-outs, and property transitions * Collect rents and communicate with Accounts Receivable regarding tenant balances * Assist tenants with transition-related processes, including utility provider coordination and operational knowledge transfer * Assign and follow up on maintenance work orders to ensure timely completion * Maintain lease files and property records in accordance with company policies * Draft tenant correspondence, including notices, COI requests, defaults, and commencement letters * Support budgeting, financial reporting, reconciliations, and tenant bill-backs * Coordinate vendors and oversee property services, including janitorial, landscaping, security, elevators, and fire/life safety systems * Obtain bids, negotiate pricing, and oversee construction projects, capital repairs, and tenant improvements * Conduct regular property inspections and ensure lease compliance * Assist with acquisitions and dispositions as needed Qualifications * 3-5 years of Commercial Real Estate Property Management experience required * Previous experience managing property transitions or transfers strongly preferred * Strong tenant relations and customer service skills * Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and follow-through abilities * Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required * Experience with MRI software is a plus, but not required * Experience with Yardi, AppFolio, or other property management systems preferred * Ability to work after hours/on-call when needed Preferred Qualifications * RPA, CMA, CPM, CMCP, or CCIM designation preferred * BOMA or IREM membership preferred * Real Estate License is a plus #BGTA #ZIPTA BG Staffing is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
