Phlebotomist Per diem

Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner Process billing information and collect payments when required Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis Maintain patient and specimen information logs Provide superior customer service to all patients Administrative and clerical duties as necessary Travel to additional sites when needed Minimum Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent Preferred Qualifications Phlebotomy certification or completed training program 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist Additional Job Standards Phlebotomy certification or training must be from an accredited agency if work experience is lacking Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to work independently or in a team environment Comfortable working under minimal supervision Reliable transportation Flexibility to work overtime as needed Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test Work Schedule Causal/per diem position with hours as needed. Start and end times vary from Monday‑Friday 6:30am‑3:00pm and rotating Saturdays 6:30‑11:00am. Pay Range $17.75 - $28.49 per hour based on skills and experience.
