Epitec is seeking an experienced Industrial Engineer for an opportunity with our automotive client in Sparks, NV. As an Industrial Engineer, the candidate will play a pivotal role in improving engineering workflows, optimizing testing processes, and driving efficiency across vehicle development and validation activities.

This is an onsite position in Sparks, NV
This position offers $41.85/hour, 10 days PTO, medical/retirement contributions (if desired)

Responsibilities:

Analyze engineering workflows, testing processes, and system performance to drive efficiency improvements and reduce variation
Develop and run simulation models (MATLAB/Simulink) to support system optimization and validation
Support model-based development and testing (MIL, SIL, HIL) across vehicle development programs
Analyze test and diagnostic data to identify trends, root causes, and improvement opportunities
Coordinate testing activities across lab, proving ground, and field environments
Partner with cross-functional engineering teams to implement process and system improvements
Create and maintain standardized documentation, procedures, and reporting structures
Conduct benchmarking and performance analysis against internal and industry standards
Present data-driven insights and recommendations to engineering stakeholders

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Automotive, or related Engineering field
3+ years of experience in industrial engineering, systems engineering, or vehicle/test engineering environment
Strong experience with modeling and simulation tools (MATLAB/Simulink is key)
Hands-on experience with model-based validation methods (MIL, SIL, HIL preferred)
Strong data analysis, problem-solving, and root cause investigation skills
Experience working with test data, diagnostics, or validation environments
Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, test, and operations teams
Strong communication skills with ability to present technical findings clearly
