Position Details

We are seeking a full-time, licensed Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate is outgoing, self-motivated, and confident working independently while maintaining excellent patient care standards. This role is well-suited for a hygienist who enjoys building patient relationships and managing their schedule effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver preventive and periodontal hygiene services with a patient-centered approach
• Educate patients on oral health, home care, and treatment recommendations
• Build strong rapport with patients through clear communication and engaging interactions
• Work independently while maintaining consistency and quality of care
• Maintain accurate and thorough clinical documentation
• Manage appointment times efficiently in a flexible schedule environment
• Follow all infection control, safety, and clinical protocols
• Contribute positively to a supportive and professional team culture

Required Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in good standing (Kentucky)
• Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program
• Outgoing personality with strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Self-starter who takes initiative and works well independently
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Professional, dependable, and patient-focused work ethic
• Commitment to high-quality, ethical dental care

Qualifications:

• Current dental hygienist license
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
• CPR Certification

Preferred Experience

• Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
• Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health
• Clinical needs as required by office
• Completion of Tuberculosis (TB) testing prior to starting employment
