District Manager, DashMart (Seattle and Idaho)

About the Role We are looking for a people‑focused leader and experienced operations specialist to lead some of our DashMart facilities. Responsibilities Lead : recruit, coach, and retain a high‑performing team of Site Managers (4+ direct reports), Assistant Site Managers, Shift Leads, and Operations Associates (30+ indirect reports). As a culture carrier, you set the tone. Own : manage and oversee the day‑to‑day operations of 4–6 DashMart locations, ensuring all site processes run smoothly, efficiently, and safely. Own market metric performance (quality, storefront reliability, efficiency, and profitability) by identifying opportunities and implementing growth plans. Strategize : execute process‑improvement pilots and projects with cross‑functional stakeholders to drive operational efficiencies while maintaining a positive employee experience. Change Management : lead adoption of operational best practices, activate team engagement, and channel frontline insights to influence cross‑functional decisions. Delight customers : work cross‑functionally with central teams to ensure the site offers customers the best experience on every order and provide the team with the tools, resources, and support needed to achieve these goals. Qualifications You act like an owner – available for onsite presence 24/7, including non‑traditional hours, weekends, and holidays. You solve problems from first principles and resist “this is how it’s always been done” thinking. You thrive in ambiguity and rapid change. You are analytical, letting data win arguments, and possess excellent Excel/data‑analysis skills. You are relentless in driving results. You have led and managed teams of 15+ employees and/or multi‑locations. You have at least 3 years of experience in Operations, Retail/Warehouse Management, Strategy, or a related field. You live within a reasonably commutable distance to a DashMart in the advertised location. Bonus Points Experience starting or scaling a successful startup. Operational experience in logistics and/or fulfillment center/warehousing. Prior experience managing high‑volume operations and team members within various local labor market requirements. Multi‑unit management experience. Experience building and training high‑performing teams. Compensation Base salary is localized according to the employee’s work location. Pay ranges from $81,600 to $120,000 USD. Equity grant opportunities are available. Paid Time Off For salaried roles: flexible paid time off/vacation, plus 80 hours of paid sick time per year. For hourly roles: vacation accrued at about 1 hour for every 25.97 hours worked (≈6.7 hours/month at 40 hrs/week, ≈3.4 hours/month at 20 hrs/week), and paid sick time accrued at 1 hour for every 30 hours worked (≈5.8 hours/month at 40 hrs/week, ≈2.9 hours/month at 20 hrs/week).
