Description

• Deliver focused one-on-one speech therapy sessions aimed at enhancing communication, language, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing efficiency.
• Collaborate harmoniously with physical and occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and family members to formulate comprehensive care strategies.
• Provide insights and education for patients and their families to facilitate progress beyond therapy sessions.
• Occasionally conduct inpatient evaluations and therapy interventions, ensuring seamless care throughout the recovery journey.
• Ensure meticulous and periodic documentation in accordance with state, federal, and facility guidelines.
• Keep abreast of industry advancements through continual learning and collaborations with peers.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) for those not yet ASHA-certified.

Certifications

• Active state licensure to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
