Locum Cardiac Anesthesiologist

We are seeking a cardiac anesthesiologist for the week of December 21, 2026. 

Schedule - Mon-Thursday OR is 7am to 3pm . There will NOT be any night call.

The provider will be expected to perform regular OR duties Monday through Thursday, with specific cardiac call responsibilities scheduled for December 24th, 25th, 26th, and 27th. 

Call is 7am December 24 – 7am December 28, 2026.

Dec 24 and 25 will be Holiday rates

Regular OR day Monday

Regular OR day Tuesday

Regular OR day Wednesday

Regular OR day Thursday + call

Cardiac Call Friday, Saturday and Sunday

Candidates must be fellowship-trained in cardiac anesthesia.

The case mix includes general anesthesia, obstetrics, vascular surgery, procedures in the cath lab, healthy pediatrics, occasional NORA (non-operating room anesthesia), and basic nerve blocks. 

It is important to clarify that this position does not involve CRNA supervision; the anesthesiologist will work independently and will not be on call during nights or weekends.

**Credentialing Requirements:** -

 **Board Certification:** Required (Board Eligible candidates within 5 years post-training will also be considered)

- **Life Support Certification:** BLS (American Heart Association) is mandatory; ACLS, ATLS, or PALS are not required for this position.

- **Quality Data/OPPE Reports:** Recent 12-month quality data is required.

- **Patient Contacts/Procedure Logs:** Must provide logs for the most recent 24 months.

- **Continuing Medical Education:** Required.
