Logistician (USN Experience Required)

This role is located onsite in Yorktown, VA. Salary range: $90k – $100k. Responsibilities Analyze and perform maintenance, testing, and inspection on weapon systems, components, and related support equipment. Perform weapon/ordnance system and component maintenance, including inspection, cleaning, repair and replacement, test, and ensure Ready for Issue (RFI) status. Perform Intermediate‑Level maintenance, including replacement of USG‑furnished wing slot seals, fairings, and other weapon parts on live missiles. Perform Depot‑Level maintenance using government‑provided weapons program technical manuals and Standard Operating Procedures. Perform visual inspections, test weapons, weapon systems, components, and containers. Provide physical inventory management for conventional weapon parts, maintenance tools, support equipment (SE), and test equipment (TE). Identify, track, verify, label, ship, receive, deliver, and manage parts/components inventory. Be qualified and licensed to perform rigging, forklift operations, crane services, and other services required to accomplish equipment installation, removal, and relocation; and personnel transport. Utilize serviceable common and peculiar USG‑furnished materials handling equipment (MHE), ordnance handling equipment (OHE), support equipment, test equipment, and common hand tools while conducting Intermediate and Depot‑Level maintenance. Perform technical data retrieval from USG‑owned databases. Education / Experience / Skills U.S. Citizenship and Active DoD Secret Clearance Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Business Administration Allowable Substitution for Degree: One (1) year of experience working in direct support of Defense Life Cycle Logistics can be substituted for a BS or BA degree. Experience with USN Missile Organizational & Intermediate level maintenance/testing. Three years in defense life cycle acquisition, operational logistics, testing or maintenance. Allowable Substitution Experience performing maintenance on Navy missiles and components. Formal USN missile maintenance or electronics training from a technical school, or Class A or C military school in electronics. Recent and relevant experience in conducting software uploading and testing, removing and replacing hardware and/or equipment, and reviewing design and drawing documents of USN Navy missiles. #J-18808-Ljbffr Synectic Solutions, Inc.
