Overview System Administrator Location Annapolis Junction, MD 20701 Clearance TS/SCI Full Poly (Please note this position requires full U.S. Citizenship) Position Responsibilities Ability to install, configure, and maintain systems Strong understanding of networking concepts Capacity for troubleshooting and resolving system issues Knowledge of system backup and recovery procedures Ability to ensure system security and data protection Strong communication and documentation skills Required Skills Proficiency with Windows and Linux systems Experience with cloud-based systems management Familiarity with virtualization platforms Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) Experience with network configurations and monitoring Familiarity with system performance tuning Desired Skills Familiarity with containerization tools (e.g., Docker) Knowledge of ITIL or other service management frameworks Experience with automation tools (e.g., Ansible) Knowledge of monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, Zabbix) Familiarity with database administration Understanding of disaster recovery planning Education Bachelor\'s Degree Alternate Experience General comment on degrees: Most contracts allow additional experience (4-5 years) in lieu of a Bachelor\'s Degree. Some contracts give 4-5 years experience credit for a Bachelor\'s Degree. Some contracts give 2 years experience credit for a Master\'s Degree. We will work with you to find the right fit.
