Electrical Test Technician

High Voltage Testing Engineers and Technicians Needed – W2 Contract I have long term utility projects at all of these locations: Springfield, MA Lancaster, PA Indianapolis, IN (all long term contracts 6-12 months with opportunity for extension or go full time) We are seeking experienced High Voltage Lead (P&C) Commissioning Engineers/Technicians to support utility and substation testing projects across the U.S. This is a hands‑on role requiring strong expertise in relay testing, protection & control systems, and full substation commissioning through energization. Candidates must have prior utility or T&D experience. Per diem, truck allowance or mileage, and mobilization (MOB) pay are provided. This is not low-voltage, residential, commercial, or industrial facilities electrical work. Applicants without high-voltage substation and utility scale relay experience will not be considered. Responsibilities Test, troubleshoot, and commission P&C systems in high‑voltage substations Perform protective relay testing using OMICRON, Doble, or similar equipment Support substation commissioning, energization, and outage activities Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and protection drawings Ensure compliance with safety standards and utility procedures Qualifications Experience as a P&C Technician, Relay Technician, or Substation Commissioning Technician Hands‑on experience in high‑voltage substations Proven relay testing and commissioning experience Ability and willingness to travel for project‑based work Preferred Experience with SEL, ABB, GE, or Siemens relays #J-18808-Ljbffr Resource Professional Solutions
