Registered Nurse - ICU

$2276.64/week - Job Summary: The Registered Staff Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive patient care across a variety of age groups, from neonates to older adults. The role involves implementing nursing practices, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring quality patient outcomes in an ICU setting. Responsibilities: Assess patients’ conditions and develop appropriate care plans based on standards and competencies. Execute nursing diagnosis, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care interventions. Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate care and delegate activities as needed. Participate in shared decision-making and contribute to the development of practice standards to improve the care environment. Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms; manage Impella and balloon pump devices for adult and geriatric patients. Document patient progress and clinical activities accurately within the Epic electronic health record system. Qualifications: Hold an active State RN license and required certifications including BLS and ACLS. Demonstrate a minimum of 1 year of ICU nursing experience, with familiarity in adult and geriatric populations. Possess experience with fresh open-heart surgery patients and interpreting cardiac rhythms. Show proficiency in Epic documentation and skills relevant to critical care nursing. Have experience with Impella and balloon pump management (preferred). Provide references from current or recent supervisory roles.
