Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ED - Emergency Department Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/10/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours Employment Type: Travel Title: Registered Nurse - ER Duration: 13 weeks Location: 1425 Portland Ave Bldg 3 Rochester, NY 14621 Schedule: Floating Shift 3*12s 36hours/week Shift: 7 AM–7 PM / 7 PM–7 AM Contract: 13 weeks Experience: Not specified; first-time travelers accepted License: Active New York single-state RN license required; pending licenses not accepted Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (valid NIHSS required at submission), PALS, TNCC* Charting: Epic experience required Weekend: Every other weekend Holidays: Every other holiday, if needed RTO/Block: Submit requests at the time of submission Cancellation Policy: Facility may cancel up to 3 shifts per 13-week contract without charges Local Rule: RNs within 75 miles are not accepted Ratios: 1:5 Floating: Required within skill set Scrubs: Any combination of navy blue and white Required Clinical Skills: IV therapy, blood product administration, central line care, phlebotomy and IV insertion/maintenance IV vasopressors, CPAP/BiPAP and ventilator management Stroke (CVA), neuro-trauma, spinal cord injury and TBI Cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation/management Adult/pediatric emergency care, gunshot wounds and orthopedic trauma Triage, isolation precautions and pediatric spinal cord injury Patient Population: Adult and geriatric patients with all types of emergency diagnoses. Special Equipment: Bair Hugger, rapid infuser and safe patient handling equipment.
