URGENT: House Sitter Wanted - Reliable House Sitter Needed In Port St. Lucie, Fl - 30 Minutes Drive Away From The Beach!

Hello, my name is Andjela, and I'm a homeowner in Port St. Lucie, Florida. I am looking for a reliable house sitter to take care of my home, animals, and plants while I am away. The position pays $30 daily (but includes a lot of amenities) and involves a few key responsibilities - animal care, mail collection, and plant care. One of the primary tasks is pet feeding and pottying. I have a few pets that need regular feeding and attention. It's essential that you love animals and are comfortable caring for them. We have a great dane, a mutt, and a goldendoodle. The dogs will need to be let out to the backyard 3-4x per day to potty, and will need to be fed and watered twice a day. In addition to this, we have a friendly bird (green-cheeked conure) that also needs to be fed and watered 2x per day. Finally, we have a veiled chameleon that will need to be fed as well. You will not need to touch or handle the chameleon at all, but will need to be comfortable handling bugs/worms that are his food. We have tongs for this and you will not need to do anything by hand. In addition to pet care, I need assistance with mail collection (there will be a designated place to put collected mail). You will also be responsible for plant care (just basic plant watering, there is a watering schedule), as well as running our vehicles weekly in order to maintain the vehicle in a healthy state. As for the location, the house is located on a half-acre in a highly desirable spot. It is a 3bd/2bath house, with a fully screened in front porch and back patio. We are located about 1hr from Orlando (Disney, Universal Studios, etc.), 45 minutes from West Palm Beach, 1hr-2hrs from Fort Lauderdale and Miami. Within the Port St. Lucie area, there are many things to see and do, such as the largest heart statue, botanical gardens, and beautiful beaches (all free). Within a 15 minute walk from our house, there are 3 local parks with nature trails, a lake for fishing, etc, and the treasure coast has some of the cleanest and most beautiful beaches in Florida. As for amenities, you will not be required to clean. We will have a housekeeper come weekly to tend to the house. She usually comes on Fridays from 10am-1pm, but we can try to switch this if it does not work for you. In addition to this, there will be weekly lawn and plant maintenance- you will not be asked to do anything more than watering. Upon your arrival, there will be a fully stocked fridge, pantry, drink fridge, laundry room, and guest bathroom. Additionally, we have two bicycles (as well as a tire pump) that you are free to use to explore the area. If you have a valid driver's license, we are also open to allowing use of one of our vehicles within the Treasure Coast area. We would just ask that you do not go anywhere further than 15-20 miles. Oh! And final thing- we are absolutely fine with you having a friend over every once in a while, and you will have a private guestroom and bathroom. We just ask that you do not have more than a few people at a time (no parties/smoking indoors, the usual). We will be out of the country from the beginning of June 2026 to the end of July 2026.
