Telekin is on a mission to build Humanity's Last Machine - autonomous, self-replicating humanoids that will perform all physical labour and build us the era of abundance on Earth and in space. We begin by deploying teleoperated avatars profitably in agriculture whilst collecting the multimodal data to train physical AGI. Our founding team has repeatedly entrusted their lives to their tech, successfully built a profitable business in ag, broken 3 aviation world records, survived 2 seasons in Antarctica and possibly helped avert our species' extinction. We're looking for an elite crew of first hires to join us in defining the evolutionary trajectory of our mechanical progeny. Role - Chief Operations Officer Fulltime, in-person at our San Francisco Bay Area HQ, your job is to keep the wheels turning smoothly, (a lot of) people in line and entropy at bay in this operationally complex, multinational endeavour. You 'll be responsible for operations, HR, administration, bookkeeping, scheduling and procurement. Vital traits include unflappability, meticulous attention to detail, resourcefulness, orderliness, an eye for efficiency and a penchant for multitasking. This role could be a strong fit if you are excited by challenges like: Setting up operational processes from scratch. Establishing and running operations centers, domestically and abroad - fluency in Spanish and experience conducting business in dissimilar cultures are appreciated. Creating and running hiring processes that help us identify, evaluate and close strong candidates. Managing the acquisition, sourcing and logistics of physical hardware. Setting up workshops, physical spaces or production environments. Creating systems that help a fast-moving technical team operate with clarity and speed. Taking broad, messy problems and turning them into structured execution plans.
