The ideal candidate will contribute to inference infrastructure for novel AI models, build resilient and distributed instrument control systems, and design intuitive user experiences. We are seeking a Software Engineer to work on unique and challenging problems across a broad spectrum of technologies, from instrument control to the cutting edge of machine learning. This role calls for a dynamic individual who is comfortable learning quickly and contributing high quality code across multiple technological stacks. Responsibilities Design and Development: Craft high quality code in a variety of frameworks, including Flutter and PyTorch. Your work will span multiple domains, requiring innovative thinking and a versatile skill set. Collaboration: Work in close coordination with Mechanical, Electrical, and Biology teams to co-create solutions, demonstrating a strong ability to communicate across disciplines. Review and Documentation: Conduct thorough reviews of both code and design documentation, ensuring clarity, efficiency, and maintainability. Your contributions will be pivotal in maintaining our high standards of quality. Leadership and Communication: Provide regular updates to team members on project statuses and challenges, embodying transparency and proactive problem-solving. General Qualifications Demonstrated ability to face unique challenges with persistence, creativity, and a positive attitude. Proven track record of delivering high-quality work within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
