Travel Certified Respiratory Therapist - Neuro Diagnostics - $1,660 per week

Overview TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Respiratory Therapist for a travel job in Wichita Falls, Texas. Responsibilities Administer to patients a variety of simple and complex respiratory and cardiology modalities. Maintains appropriate patient records/documentation. Cleans, disinfects, assembles, calibrates, maintains respiratory equipment and accessories. Evaluates equipment for proper and safe function. Reports malfunctions to director. Performs arterial puncture and analyzes samples according to procedure guidelines. Interacts with co-workers, nurses, physicians, and other hospital personnel to optimize continuum of care for the patient being treated. Responds to emergent situations that could require respiratory support. Qualifications 1 year of recent acute care experience required. NBRC-CRT certification required. BLS and ACLS required; PALS and NRP may be required in some areas. Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.
