PATIENT FOOD SERVICES MANAGER II

Salary: $60,000-$65,000 Job Summary Patient Food Services Manager at Mayo Clinic Methodist Campus, Rochester, MN. Responsible for leading the Patient Services Team in an acute care setting. Key Responsibilities Establish goals and oversee implementation of patient food services based on medical direction and patient population. Hire, direct, coach, train, and develop patient service team members. Comply with dietary restrictions on special or modified diets to ensure optimal food preferences are met within guidelines of diet orders. Ensure the patient services staff assists in achieving stated patient satisfaction goals. Comply with regulatory standards, including federal, state, and accrediting agencies while adhering to facility confidentiality, HIPAA regulations, and patient rights policies. Participate in or lead patient satisfaction programs, departmental meetings, and facility-wide Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement programs. Qualifications Associate degree with one year work experience in food services or related field, or bachelor’s degree in food service technology/management or related field. Certified Dietary Manager certificate, Registered Dietician or Registered Dietitian preferred. Minimum of one year experience in food service management, preferred in an acute care setting. ServSafe® certified, desirable. Proficiency using Microsoft Office, electronic medical record, and diet office systems.
