Job TitleNursing Tutor / Nursing FacultyJob SummaryWe are seeking a knowledgeable and dedicated Nursing Tutor to teach, mentor, and guide nursing students in both theoretical and clinical subjects. The tutor will support students in building strong clinical knowledge, practical skills, and exam readiness while maintaining academic standards.Key ResponsibilitiesTeaching & Academic SupportDeliver lectures and tutorials for nursing subjects (ANM / GNM / BSc / MSc Nursing as applicable)Explain nursing concepts clearly using examples and case studiesPrepare lesson plans, notes, and study materialsConduct revision sessions, doubt-clearing classes, and exam preparationClinical GuidanceGuide students in clinical procedures and patient care practicesSupport students during clinical postings and practical examsEnsure adherence to nursing protocols and ethical standardsAssessment & EvaluationPrepare question papers, assignments, and practical evaluationsAssess student performance and provide constructive feedbackMaintain academic records and attendanceStudent MentoringMentor students on academic progress and career guidanceEncourage professional behavior and confidenceAddress learning gaps and provide individualized supportAdministrative & ComplianceFollow nursing council and institutional guidelinesParticipate in faculty meetings, training, and curriculum developmentAssist in accreditation and inspection activitiesRequired QualificationsBSc Nursing / MSc Nursing / GNM (as per institution requirement)Valid nursing registration with State Nursing CouncilStrong subject knowledge and teaching abilitySkills RequiredExcellent communication and presentation skillsAbility to simplify complex nursing conceptsStudent-focused and patient-centric approachBasic computer skills (MS Word, PPT, online teaching tools)Experience1–5 years of teaching or clinical experience (freshers may apply where applicable)Experience in tutoring, coaching, or academic roles is an advantageWork ModeFull-time / Part-time / Online / Hybrid (as applicable)If you want, I can:Customize this JD for online nursing tutorSimplify it for junior tutorsAlign it with INC / State Nursing Council normsConvert it into a ready-to-share JD document or email
