Description: CONTRACT - RN - TELE 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Taking 6:1 assignments, possibly 5:1. No on-call required. General comments about the unit: The unit has 34 beds. Number of staff includes: 1 Charge Nurse, 6 Nurses, 3 PCTs during the day shift, 1 Charge Nurse, 6 Nurses, and 2 PCTs during the night shift. Patient ratios are 1:6. Type of equipment includes Welch Allyn Vital Signs and GE Telemetry Monitoring. EMR used is MediTech. Typical procedures performed on the unit include wound vac, CPM machines, external fixation, and bracing. Best personality fit is outgoing and team-oriented staff. Dress code requires navy scrubs. Unit awards include 1 ICARE Award and 4 Daisy Award Winners. Additional information to consider includes new equipment or technology, tenure and experience of staff, and schedule options.
