Event Coordinator

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
Position Overview
We are seeking a proactive, organized, and detail-oriented Event Coordinator to oversee the planning and execution of a variety of events. This role is responsible for coordinating all event logistics, ensuring exceptional customer experiences, and supporting business growth through client relationship development and event sales efforts.
Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate event details from initial inquiry through successful completion.
  
  
• Assist clients with planning and organizing events, meetings, celebrations, and special gatherings.
  
  
• Manage company-hosted events, promotions, and special programs.
  
  
• Conduct facility tours and present event offerings to prospective clients.
  
  
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop customized event packages and pricing.
  
  
• Prepare and maintain event documentation, schedules, contracts, and timelines.
  
  
• Oversee event setup, execution, and breakdown while serving as the primary onsite contact.
  
  
• Partner with leadership to maintain and improve service quality and operational standards.
  
  
• Communicate effectively with multiple departments to ensure seamless event execution.
  
  
• Build and maintain relationships with prospective and existing clients.
  
  
• Generate new business through networking, outreach, referrals, and follow-up activities.
  
  
• Monitor event budgets, profitability, invoicing, and related administrative functions.
  
  
• Conduct post-event follow-up and gather feedback to improve future events.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in event planning, hospitality, customer service, catering, sales, or a related field.
  
  
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  
  
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  
  
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.
  
  
• Experience with budgeting, sales, contract management, or event coordination is preferred.
  
  
• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  
  
• Self-motivated, professional, and solution-oriented mindset.
