Field Operations Leader

We are on a mission to scale to $5M+ in revenue and beyond, and we're looking for a Field Operations Leader who thrives in fast-paced environments, builds strong teams, and takes ownership of results.

This is not a coordinator role. This is a field leadership role responsible for:

  • Leading and developing crews
  • Driving production performance
  • Hiring, training, and holding team members accountable
  • Executing at a high leveldaily

You will be the leader of our field team.

What You'll Be Responsible For

  • Team Leadership & Development
    • Recruit, hire, and onboard painters and crew leaders
    • Train and develop team members into top performers
    • Build a culture of accountability, ownership, and pride
    • Conduct regular performance check-ins and coaching
  • Production Execution
    • Ensure jobs are completed on time and on budget
    • Maintain high-quality standards across all projects
    • Solve problems quickly in the fieldwithout excuses
    • Support Project Managers and ensure seamless execution
  • Performance Management
    • Own labor efficiency and production KPIs
    • Identify underperformance and take decisive action
    • Drive continuous improvement across crews
  • Operational Excellence
    • Implement and enforce systems and processes
    • Collaborate with leadership to improve operations
    • Be the bridge between the field and leadership team

  • 37+ years in construction, painting, or field operations
  • Leadership experience managing crews or teams
  • Proven ability to improve team performance
  • Experience in hiring and developing people
  • Strong organizational and communication skills

  • Detail-aware and process-minded
  • Able to lead and communicate effectively
