Phlebotomist
$20 - $27.69 per hourLabcorp
Labcorp seeks a Hospital Phlebotomist for a Vancouver, Washington location to perform blood collections, process specimens, and provide patient services. The position operates on a rotating evening and overnight schedule with opportunities for growth within a leading diagnostic testing organization.
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for patients of all ages
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests and related diagnostics
- Enter patient information and maintain specimen documentation accurately and timely
- Process billing information and collect patient payments as required
- Prepare specimens for laboratory testing and analysis
Requirements
- Washington State phlebotomy license (MA-P) or filed application at time of hire
- Pass standardized color blindness test
- Ability to work rotating shifts including evenings and weekends
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in independent work and minimal supervision
- One or more years phlebotomy experience (preferred)
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal abilities
Compensation: $20.00-$27.69 per hour plus second shift differential
