Aces Risk Management LLC
Job Description
Job Description
Description:
Summary
ACES Quality Management is on a mission to enable organizations to improve quality, reduce risk, strengthen compliance, and operate with confidence by delivering advanced technology. Through our leading quality management platform, we empower clients to elevate performance and stay ahead of risk. What sets us apart is our people - an engaged, high-performing, remote team that shows up for our customers and each other every day.
The Compliance Analyst translates federal regulatory requirements into the data fields, logic, and code that power ACES’ compliance-related reporting and platform functionality. This role bridges regulatory subject-matter expertise and technical execution — identifying the data fields a requirement calls for, drafting the underlying logic, and confirming the result reflects the rule accurately using test data. The Compliance Analyst partners closely with Compliance leadership and members of the Operations and Product teams to ensure new and updated logic is accurate, well-documented, and thoroughly tested before release.
Essential Functions / Responsibilities
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions
- Analyzes regulatory, agency, and GSE requirements (e.g., TRID, RESPA, ECOA/Regulation B, fair lending, HMDA, or similar mortgage and financial services regulations; FNMA, FHLMC guidelines; FHA, USDA, VA requirements) and translates them into business and technical requirements
- Identifies the data fields and data sources needed to support new or updated compliance logic
- Drafts and maintains the underlying code, rules, and logic that power ACES’ compliance-related reporting and platform functionality
- Designs and documents data sets and logic flows that accurately reflect applicable federal requirements
- Partners with members of the Operations and Product teams to coordinate testing of new and updated logic prior to release
- Serves as a subject-matter resource to Compliance leadership and cross-functional teams on regulatory interpretation and its technical implementation
- Monitors changes in federal regulatory requirements and assesses the impact to existing logic and reporting
- Documents logic, data field mappings, and business rules clearly for internal reference and knowledge continuity
- Troubleshoots and resolves issues related to compliance logic and data accuracy, escalating as appropriate
- Contributes to internal knowledge base articles and procedural documentation related to compliance logic and data
Qualifications & Competencies
- Strong working knowledge of regulatory, agency, and GSE requirements applicable to mortgage servicing, loan origination, or financial services compliance
- Demonstrated ability to translate regulatory language into technical logic and data requirements
- Proficiency building and troubleshooting code/logic (e.g., SQL or similar query/scripting languages)
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and sound judgment
- Ability to independently identify relevant data fields and construct accurate data sets
- Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical logic to non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a cross-functional team environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills; able to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Familiarity with reporting tools such as Business Objects, Reveal BI, or similar BI platforms preferred
Required Education and Experience

- Experience with SQL or comparable query/scripting languages
- Working knowledge of the ACES platform preferred
- Experience with mortgage servicing, loan origination, or core banking systems preferred
