Registered Nurse - ICU

Job Description

Job Summary:
The ICU RN is responsible for providing specialized critical care to adult patients in the intensive care unit. This role requires delivering high-quality patient care through monitoring and managing critically ill patients with precision and compassion.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders.
• Monitor vital signs and utilize Meditech charting system to document patient progress.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
• Respond promptly to patient emergencies and adjust treatments accordingly.
• Maintain compliance with ACLS, PALS, and BLS certification requirements.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid state licensure or compact license for registered nursing.
• Possess at least 2 years of ICU experience.
• Be ACLS, PALS, and BLS certified.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Meditech charting system preferred.
• Be willing to work day shifts (3x12 hours) and float within scope as needed.
• Be able to accommodate block scheduling requirements.
