Schedule: Full-Time
Setting: On-Site
Caseload: 11 Students
Location: Cusseta, GA

We are seeking a dedicated Middle School Self‑Contained Teacher to provide individualized instruction and support for students with diverse learning needs for one of our school site in Cusseta, GA . This role requires strong classroom management, collaboration with families and staff, and a commitment to fostering student growth in a structured environment.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Provide direct instruction in academic, social, and functional skills
• Adapt curriculum to meet varied student needs
• Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress monitoring
• Create a positive, supportive classroom environment

Requirements:

• Must hold a valid Georgia certification in Adapted Curriculum
• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field (Master’s preferred)
• Experience working with middle school students in self‑contained settings
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
