Associate Veterinarian

Introduction Our client is a hospital seeking to hire an Associate Veterinarian. This hospital sees dogs, cats, rabbits, ferrets, guinea pigs, hamsters, rats, and other pocket pets. Working Hours / Rota The hospital is open Monday from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm, Tuesday to Thursday from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, Friday from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, and Saturday from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm, with the hospital closed on Sundays. Doctor hours are open to discussion, and you can enjoy a flexible schedule with part-time and full-time options available. Role Description and Responsibilities The role includes full GP responsibilities covering a variety of clinical areas. This position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates. Practice Details The hospital is AAHA Accredited and Cat-Friendly Practices certified, offering wellness exams, sick visits, vaccinations, boarding, grooming, microchipping, health and travel certificates, laser therapy, x-rays, in-house laboratory diagnostics, and a variety of surgical procedures such as spay and neuter, ACL reconstruction, cherry eye repair, dental care, pain management, and more. Team The hospital has 3 DVMs and maintains a 3:1 staff-to-doctor ratio, allowing for abundant support to deliver high-quality care alongside a highly skilled and knowledgeable team. They prioritize intentional scheduling and staffing to ensure the best outcomes for patients and recognize their technicians as essential and valued members of the team.
