This role focuses on generator service, maintenance, and repair, with opportunities available in multiple locations. We offer highly competitive wages and a dynamic field-based work environment. As a Field Power Generation Technician/Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing power generation systems—primarily, diesel-driven generators—to ensure reliable and efficient operation. You'll work directly in the field, responding to customer needs, performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting complex mechanical and electrical issues, and completing repairs safely and efficiently. Key responsibilities include monitoring generator performance, conducting routine inspections and maintenance, identifying and resolving technical issues, and supporting system upgrades to improve performance and reliability. You will also play an important role in maintaining safety standards and helping implement best practices while working in a variety of field conditions. Power Generation Technician/Mechanic Job Duties:

• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair all makers of generators.
• Demonstrate basic-level knowledge of and/or experience with power generation products.
• Complete preventative maintenance and repairs on generators or components at customer sites with minimal supervision.
• Diagnose, repair, adjust, and modify components of the generator, engine, and switchgear.
• Maintain positive interactions with service writers, foremen, parts department, and customers.
• Keep paperwork updated and submit upon completion.
• Meet certification requirements.
• Perform administrative duties related to the role.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working with industrial power generation sets.
• Experience with diesel and natural gas engines, electrical switchgear, and automatic Interstate Companies
