Operations Management Development Program – January 2027 | Precision Castparts The Tone: This is a two‑year rotational development program at Precision Castparts, located in various manufacturing facilities across the U.S. Precision Castparts Corp. empowers emergent talent through high‑velocity learning experiences, preparing them for leadership in operations management. This program is specifically designed to build capable operations leaders through hands‑on experience and tailored mentorship within our manufacturing facilities. The TL;DR Role: Development Program (Rotational) Type: Full‑time Location: In‑person, various U.S. locations Mission: To prepare emergent talent for leadership in operations management by providing comprehensive understanding of business operations and developing critical leadership, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills. What You’ll Actually Do Immerse yourself in a deep‑diving experience, shadowing every department and learning the full process, while connecting with employees to understand real challenges. Drive improvements in key operational metrics such as safety, quality, cost, and productivity through impactful projects during the initial immersion phase. Step into a full Operations Supervisor role with direct responsibility for people, performance, and outcomes, owning key metrics across safety, quality, throughput, cost, productivity, and team development. Engage in an elevated leadership challenge during the second year rotation at a more complex facility, often with broader scope and larger teams to manage. Benchmark best practices by visiting other Precision Castparts facilities, gaining unique visibility to multiple levels of the organization (Plant, Division, Corporate). The Must‑Haves Background: Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field such as Operations or Industrial Management, Supply Chain, Industrial Systems, Engineering Management, Engineering, or a related degree. This program targets seniors graduating in December 2026 or recent graduates, preparing them for entry‑level leadership roles. Must be a US Person. Experience: Prior co‑op or internship experience gained within a manufacturing environment. Demonstrated leadership capacity through active involvement in clubs, organizations, or other activities. Skills: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to handle high stress associated with high activity and tight deadlines. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to multi‑task, exercise time management, and prioritize effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
