Make a real difference supporting students as a contract Occupational Therapist for the second semester, working near Littlerock, CA. This full-time opportunity runs from January 11 to June 3 and offers the valuable chance to strengthen your professional skills while collaborating with a dynamic educational team.
What We’re Looking For:
- Valid OT licensure, with experience in school-based settings preferred
- Strong assessment and therapy planning skills for students with diverse needs
- Ability to provide supervision and support to COTAs
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Flexible, collaborative, and able to adjust to varying school environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services across up to 10 schools, ensuring high-quality, individualized care for students
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments in line with IEP goals and guidelines
- Serve as a resource for teachers, staff, and families on occupational therapy topics and student needs
- Oversee and provide supervision to COTAs
- Maintain accurate records, document progress, and participate in multidisciplinary meetings
- Collaborate closely with educators and administrators to create supportive, functional learning environments for all students
Schedule:
- 40 hours per week
- Monday through Friday
- Contract runs from January 11 to June 3, covering the second semester
