Job Title: HR Business Partner Job Code: 37864 Job Location: Colorado Springs, CO Job Schedule: 9/80 (Every other Friday off) We are looking for a strategic HR Business Partner to support business leaders within the Engineering and Security organizations of the Space Systems division. The role is located on-site in Colorado Springs, CO and reports to the Director, Human Resources for Core Functions. Essential Functions Partner directly with the Director, Human Resources and leadership team to deliver strategies that drive engagement, talent acquisition and development, organizational effectiveness, and continuous improvement in support of the annual operating plan (AOP). Build strong partnerships with leaders and employees, providing trusted counsel on organizational and employee matters. Proactively identify challenges, diagnose root causes, and deliver innovative solutions that enhance employee engagement and drive business results. Use metrics and analytics to drive performance and people decisions regarding acquisition, engagement, development, retention, and inclusion. Collaborate with client groups to design and execute talent strategies aligned with business goals. Drive strategic talent initiatives in acquisition, development, and succession planning, ensuring a strong pipeline of future leaders. Coach and build leadership capabilities to address and resolve both human and technical aspects of the work environment. Collaborate with the HR Center of Excellence, Legal, Ethics, Environmental Health & Safety, and Security teams. Participate in and/or lead high-impact projects across Spectral Solutions and the HR organization. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience; or Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience; or, in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience. Preferred Additional Skills Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related business area. Strong business and HR acumen with proven problem‑solving, critical thinking, and self‑initiative; track record of delivering results. Ability to influence, coach, and consult with all levels of the organization effectively. Experience driving HR strategy in performance management, employee engagement, retention, staffing, compensation, leadership coaching and development, and succession planning. Demonstrated experience delivering on HR metrics and reporting progress regularly. Experience supporting a P&L organization and geographically dispersed teams. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, highly adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment. Project management experience. Employee relations and investigative experience. Possesses a high level of professional integrity and attention to detail. Geographically mobile for continued career growth. In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in Colorado state is $76,500–$141,500. Salary may vary based on experience and location.
