• Proficiency with EPICIV start experience
• Telemetry experience
• Ventilator management experience
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred

Description:

Join our Critical Care Float Pool for weekend Day shifts with flexibility to meet unit needs as they arise.Nurses will float to a variety of ICUs based on staffing and patient acuity.Float policy requires nurses to float within units of equivalent or lower acuity.

Experience in the following areas is highly desirable:

• Accessing/managing ports
• Arterial line management
• Chest tube insertion/removal
• BiPAP/CPAP management
• Blood product administration
• Care of ventilated patients
• Central line care/management
• Chronic/acute renal failure
• Continuous IV paralytics/neuromuscular blockade
• Continuous IV sedation
• CVA/acute stroke management
• Emergency medications
• External ventricular drain management
• Phlebotomy
• PICC line management
• Suctioning (ETT, NT)
• Titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips
• Management of patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure

Daily responsibilities will include:

• Assuming care of patients in high-acuity settings
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary support teams
• Participating in emergency response and interventions
• Providing compassionate care to critically ill patients

The position requires floating to all ICU specialties.Willingness to accommodate unit needs is essential.There is a minimum requirement of every other weekend shifts.
