MUST HAVE:

• 2+ years of Grievance & Appeals experience
• Healthcare, Health Plan, or Managed Care experience
• Medicare or Medicare Advantage experience strongly preferred
• Claims experience
• Knowledge of Medical Terminology
• Experience working within regulatory and compliance guidelines

Responsibilities:

• Investigate member grievances and appeals
• Gather documentation from providers, vendors, and internal departments
• Review claims-related issues and supporting records
• Track and manage case inventories to ensure regulatory deadlines are met
• Communicate with members and providers regarding case status and information requests
• Prepare case files and maintain detailed documentation
• Ensure compliance with Medicare and health plan regulations
• Coordinate with clinical teams and leadership as needed

Ideal Candidate:

Must have hands-on experience handling grievances and appeals within a health plan, managed care, or Medicare Advantage environment. Candidates with only customer service, medical billing, or general claims backgrounds without appeals experience will not be considered.

This is a Contract position based out of Las Vegas, NV.

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
