Electro-Mechanical Assembler The primary purpose of the Electrical / Mechanical Assembler is to assemble electrical and sheet metal sub-assemblies using a variety of special tools and fixtures to move products to the next level of production. Job Responsibilities: Build all components to customer specifications. Work to include, assembly of electrical components, assembly of sheet metal parts, soldering glass into cases, and induction brazing. Review electricals drawings for capability of quoting new work. Others as needed. Required Skills/Qualifications: Minimum one year experience working in aerospace manufacturing. Experience working with epoxy and or adhesives for assemblies a plus. Experience working with glass for cockpit displays a plus. Must have two years experience assembling electrical components. Must have two years soldering experience. Induction brazing experience a plus. Must have a minimum of one year of mechanical assembly. Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical schematics. Must be able to take directions, work independently, or within a production cell. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Must read and speak fluent English. Physical Requirements: Must be able to perform visual inspections of product to corrected vision of 20-20. Able to lift 40Lbs. on a regular basics. Able to stand or sit for long periods. Must be able to wear PPE as required. Must work overtime as required.
