Lecturers, English and Communication

Posting Summary Faculty of the Arts & Sciences, Department of English and Communications at Rutgers‑Camden seeks part‑time lecturers for Fall 2025, Winter 2026, Spring 2025, and/or Summer 2026 to teach various courses. Lecturers will present course material during assigned times, hold office hours, administer exams, assign grades, and coordinate all related instructional duties. Responsibilities Deliver assigned courses with high academic standards. Hold regular office hours for student support. Administer and grade examinations and assignments. Coordinate course logistics and any required instructional materials. Qualifications Minimum: MA, MFA, or Ph.D. in English, Communications, or a related discipline. Prior teaching experience at the college level preferred. Knowledge of contemporary scholarship in the field of study. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for diverse student populations.
