Summary

Ovivo's Clarification business has one of the deepest installed bases in the water treatment industry - more than 10,000 clarifier installations spanning municipal utilities, industrial facilities, and everything in between. Keeping that infrastructure performing at its best is the mission of the Repair & Rebuild group, and this role leads it.

As Group Manager for Repair & Rebuild, you'll own the full commercial and operational lifecycle of a specialized business unit - from bookings and profitability to team development and strategic growth. This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who combines strong business instincts with operational depth, and who sees building a team and growing a business as two sides of the same coin.

What You'll Do

You'll provide strategic and operational leadership across the full R&R business - directing Engineering, Project Management, Planning, Purchasing, and Field Service to deliver results for customers and for the P&L.

Business Leadership & P&L

• Own full P&L responsibility for the Repair & Rebuild group, including bookings, revenue, margin, and annual commitments.
• Plan and administer the Operations budget; oversee forecasting and backlog visibility in coordination with Marketing.
• Drive commercial strategy for the R&R business - identifying growth opportunities, expanding client relationships, and improving margin performance.
• Collaborate with Marketing on pricing, technical specifications, and strategic planning to grow revenue and strengthen market positioning.

Team Leadership & Development

• Lead, mentor, and develop a cross-functional team including engineers, designers, project managers, planning and purchasing staff, and a marketing coordinator.
• Cultivate a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and professional growth - developing team members who are ready for expanded responsibility.
• Conduct performance reviews and coach individuals on both technical and professional development.
• Ensure the team operates in accordance with company policies, safety standards, and ethical practices.

Operations & Project Execution

• Oversee the full lifecycle of rebuild projects - from initial booking and design through delivery, field service, and project closeout.
• Direct engineering, planning/purchasing, and field service activities to keep projects on budget and on schedule.
• Negotiate contract details and resolve back-charges professionally and in a timely manner.
• Engage directly with complex customer situations to resolve issues, protect relationships, and close out projects successfully.
• Ensure prompt, professional responses to customers at every stage of the project lifecycle.

Who You Are

We're looking for a leader who combines operational credibility with commercial instincts - someone who earns the respect of their team through expertise and develops them through investment.

• 7+ years of progressive experience in a water/wastewater, manufacturing, construction, or closely related field.
• 3+ years of team leadership experience, with demonstrated success developing and managing cross-functional groups.
• S. in Engineering (or equivalent combination of education and directly applicable experience).
• Proven track record of P&L ownership - managing budgets, driving profitability, and accountability for business outcomes.
• Strong knowledge of contracts, negotiation, and back-charge management in a project-based environment.
• Ability to read and interpret industry drawings, written specifications, and technical documents.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - effective at building client relationships and influencing cross-functional stakeholders.
• Knowledge of the rebuild/aftermarket business model and construction principles; water and wastewater equipment experience is a strong plus.
