Responsibilities Provide high-quality medical care to patients Conduct thorough patient examinations and assessments Diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions Develop and implement patient care plans Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care Maintain accurate patient records and documentation Stay current with medical best practices and guidelines Participate in team meetings and case discussions Requirements Valid MD or DO license to practice in the state Minimum of 1-3 years of clinical experience Strong knowledge of medical principles and practices Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Commitment to providing high-quality patient care Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems Board certification in relevant specialties preferred Level I Trauma Shift Type: 24-hour call shifts Patient Population: High acuity 2 CVORs, 20-bed CVICU Duties: Provide management for cardiothoracic surgery patients across the continuum of care, deliver surgical coverage, consults, daily rounding, and on-call duties Support Staff: ICU team, cardiology, interventional cardiology, anesthesia, APPs, perfusionists, and OR staff Procedures Required: CABG, valve surgery, ECMO, emergent post-PCI, Type A aortic dissections, chest exploration/re-entry/postoperative bleeding management, temporary mechanical circulatory support management, TAVR EMR: Cerner + iMed Must be board-certified Paid travel & expenses included #J-18808-Ljbffr 77 consultants
