Leasing Consultant The Leasing Consultant is responsible for all aspects of leasing, marketing, and maintaining positive resident relations for a property. Responsibilities Property Leasing and Administration Regular/daily onsite attendance is required Show, lease, greet and qualify prospective residents; conduct tours and sign leases Close leases by coordinating appointments, generating leads, conducting tours, maintaining model units, and follow-up Complete all leasing paperwork prior to move-in Assist with lease audits, unit walkthroughs, and turn processes Maintain accurate prospect traffic and leasing data; respond to prospect leads within 24 hours Utilize sales and marketing strategies to increase traffic, maintain closing ratios, and achieve leasing goals Perform administrative tasks as needed Address resident complaints and requests to ensure satisfaction Assist in developing and implementing resident retention programs (e.g., events, promotions, newsletters) Support general upkeep and cleanliness of office, common areas, and model Marketing & Outreach: assist in implementing annual marketing plan outreach Review market surveys/analyses to generate ideas and plans Maintain knowledge of property, competition, and market conditions; complete weekly market survey Customer & Resident Relations: provide excellent customer service and monitor response times Present a positive image of the community to support objectives and public recognition Enforce community policies as directed by supervision Education/Experience High School Diploma or Equivalent Ability to perform on-site software functions; basic computer skills required Basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements Physical Requirements Regular movement about the worksite; ability to communicate and perform repetitive motions Ability to ascend/descend ladders, stairs, and similar structures; ability to remain standing or seated for extended periods Ability to work in various environments, including tight spaces; may lift or move objects up to 25 lbs At Asset Living, compensation decisions are based on factors including skills, experience, and certifications.
