Assistant/Associate Professor

Position Overview Colorado State University invites applications for two tenure-track faculty positions in the Department of Atmospheric Science at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. Candidates will contribute to teaching, research, and service. Position Focus Areas Climate Dynamics – Research in physical processes governing Earth's climate through observational analyses, numerical modeling, and application of statistical/machine learning techniques. Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Atmospheric Science – Integrating AI with physics‑ or chemistry‑based models to improve Earth system understanding, prediction of extreme events, remote sensing applications, and climate variability.
